The arts can impact not only our general quality of life, but also our physical and emotional health. Still, they are sometimes undervalued. Why and how should people of all ages make more room in their lives for the visual and performing arts, whether as observers and supporters or as learners and creators? Is it ever too late to start? What are Philadelphia arts institutions doing to address barriers and increase access, and what can Philadelphians do at the community level to uplift local artists? Come hear from Philadelphia leaders representing Ensemble Arts Philly, Power Street Theater, The Barnes Foundation, and the University of Pennsylvania. This event is free, but registration is required. Hosted by the Penn Office of Social Equity & Community. Co-sponsored by the Sachs Program for Arts Innovation and Penn Live Arts.
