Join the Penn Professional Staff Assembly (PPSA) for an engaging conversation on Attention Activism—a growing grassroots movement focused on reclaiming our attention from addictive social media platforms and rethinking our relationship with technology.
Neal Swisher, IT Director for Instructional Technology at Penn Carey Law School, will introduce the key ideas behind attention activism, including sanctuary spaces, phone-free activities, coalition-building, and setting healthier boundaries with technology. University professionals should be aware of these growing trends, especially among young people.
Come ready to learn, reflect, and participate in the conversation.
