2021 Call for Board and Committee Nominations

The 2021 nomination period has elapsed. The balloting period is May 26-June 8, 2022. PPSA members should check their emails for the ballot link or contact us at the email address given at the bottom of the page to receive a ballot.

Committee and Executive Board service are rewarding and enjoyable experiences that requires only a few hours per month. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet colleagues from across the University who will help to enrich your work life with Penn.

PPSA Board Nominations

The following positions are open for nomination:
PPSA Chair-Elect (1 position, three-year term of service)
Executive Committee Member At-Large (4 positions, two-year term of service)
PPSA Representative to University Council Committees (7 positions, one-year term of service)

Chair-Elect: the Chair is the principal executive officer who calls meetings, prepares agendas, presides over meetings, and provides leadership and representation at the University Council and other meetings. After one year, the Chair-Elect automatically succeeds to the office of Chair. Following that, the Chair serves a final year as the Past Chair.

Board Members at Large (Four positions are available, each for a two-year term): The Members at Large participate in PPSA Board meetings, take on special projects, and serve on other University committees.

The 2021-2022 election for officers will occur after PPSA’s annual meeting. The annual meeting will be held virtually on Wednesday, May 26, 2020 at 12:00pm ET, at which we are honored to be joined by Erika James, Dean of the Wharton School. Register to join the annual meeting here.

University Council Committees

An online election will take place to identify the Chair-Elect and the Members At-Large in the days following the annual meeting. University Council Committee members will be appointed by the PPSA Tri-Chairs from amongst all applicants following the election.
