Penn’s African American Resource Center (AARC) in partnership with Restorative Practices @ Penn (RP@P), Makuu, CAPS, and the LGBT Center will be offering another healing and processing space for Black faculty and staff. As we continue to navigate a new unique semester, we are still bombarded with a national surge of black folks being unjustly subjected to violence and murder. Jacob Blake, Breonna Taylor, Daniel Prude, and the list unfortunately goes on and on. We are all navigating truly devastating times with two ongoing pandemics: coronavirus and racism/oppression in this country. We need each other. The Circle space can be a good container for people to process with their community, heal themselves, build and strengthen connections, and/or to plan for action. Join us as we host this healing and processing space to do just that. This Circle is part of an ongoing series of opportunities for Black members of the Penn professional community to come together and be in meaningful solidarity with one another.
Please join us on Thursday September 24th from 3-5pm for this opportunity for communal healing and solidarity. RSVP: https://forms.gle/ZTUHufV7EgKY8YPQ8
