Garden to Studio is a one-of-a-kind experience to immerse oneself in the worlds of food, history, art, and gardening. It’s a ceramics workshop with private tours of Grounds For Sculpture and the Penn Museum on Saturdays, from Sept. 23-Oct. 7 at 10 AM.
Participants step into the past at the Penn Museum with a private tour from Dr. Katherine Moore, Curator of Ancient Food & Flavor on Sept. 23. The following week, the group will meet at Grounds For Sculpture to explore the point where horticulture meets art, with a guided garden tour from GFS’ Director of Horticulture, Janis Napoli—and create their own ceramic vessels inside the Ceramics Studio. On Oct. 7, participants will continue to work on their ceramics projects. Transportation is not included and space is limited.
Cost: $150 general admission; $120 for Penn Museum Members
