The Master in Law Society and the Master in Law Program at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School proudly present “Democracy, National Security, and the Law: Striking the Right Balance,” featuring Secretary Jeh Johnson, former U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security, in conversation with Professor Jean Galbraith, a leading scholar in U.S. foreign relations law.

Drawing from his extensive experience in government and law, Secretary Johnson will offer valuable insights into the legal and policy challenges involved in protecting national security while upholding democratic values and civil liberties.

The event will include an audience Q&A, followed by a reception for pre-registered guests.
