Please join us for a conversation with Weingarten Assistant Curator for North America and Department of Anthropology assistant professor, Dr. Megan Kassabaum. On December 3rd, Dr. Kassabaum will talk with us about her research Eastern North American mounds: “Archaeology without a Passport: Mounds in Eastern North America,” during which she will discuss her work on mound sites in the American South and bring us closer to home by providing us with insight into the types of archaeological sites we can find right here in our own backyards.

To find out more about Dr. Kassabaum’s work and to connect with her publications, visit her departmental website: https://www.sas.upenn.edu/anthropology/people/megan-kassabaum

Research teas provide an opportunity to learn more about ongoing research on the Penn campus in an informal setting with tea and cookies. We look forward to seeing you there!
