Climate Week at Penn

Next Week is Climate Week at Penn!

We asked and you answered: The Climate Week at Penn calendar is overflowing with nearly 50 events organized by schools, centers, students, faculty, and staff from every corner of Penn’s campus. From hands-on activities on Locust Walk, to a special meal in Quaker Kitchen, to panels discussing climate challenges and solutions in the Climate Week Tent, and dozens of other events in locations all around campus, your engagement will truly make Penn a hot spot (this year’s theme!) of learning, sharing, and action next week.

If you have a question about the week’s events, look for a Climate Week Core Organizing Committee member or our Climate Week Fellows (more on them below) wearing Climate Week tees.

We encourage you to make some time between classes, spend your lunch hour with us, or close out the day with evening activities to take full advantage of what Climate Week has to offer. See you there!
Where to Find Us Many Climate Week at Penn events will be held in or adjacent to our tent on College Green, set up just in front of the Van Pelt-Dietrich Library. Tent events are open to all. We welcome you to stop by Mon., Oct. 13 – Thurs., Oct. 16. We’ll have speakers, hands-on activities, and snacks to share.

For the latest on events you won’t want to miss, follow us on social media throughout the week. Our Climate Week Fellows and staff will be sharing photos and recaps of events on Instagram @penn_environment. If you want to share your own experiences, consider using the hashtag#climateweekatpenn.
