Join the Master in Law Program for a panel discussion on the legal disputes surrounding patent ownership of CRISPR technology, a groundbreaking tool that enables gene editing to correct genetic defects, treat and prevent disease, and improve crops.

Using the example of a current vaccine that was developed with CRISPR technology, our panel of experts will explain the patent and licensing process and the ongoing court battles over ownership of CRISPR patents.

A reception will follow the panel discussion and Q&A.
