How Is Trump 2.0 Reshaping the Administrative State?

March 26, 2025
3:00pm – 4:30pm EDT
Via Zoom

Since assuming office in January, the Trump Administration has taken unprecedented actions involving federal agencies. He has asserted expanded presidential power over the functioning of independent agencies, taken steps to dismantle certain agencies in their entirety, and fired agency officials despite laws forbidding such terminations without cause.

Join the Penn Program on Regulation for an online panel discussion exploring what such developments mean for the future of the U.S. administrative state. The discussion, moderated by PPR Affiliate Neysun Mahboubi as part of the Law & Governance series that he organizes, will feature a group of leading administrative and regulatory law experts: Cary Coglianese (Penn), Susan Dudley (GW), Gillian Metzger (Columbia), Richard Revesz (NYU), and Christopher Walker (Michigan).

Please register to get the Zoom link for this online event, which is free and open to the public.
