Wagtail Space US is returning to Penn this June! Wagtail is the most popular Content Management System written in Python and Django, with a focus on accessibility, developer and editor friendliness, and expendability. The project is maintained by a team of open-source contributors, backed by companies around the world. The project has received praise for the ease of use of its administration interface, StreamField feature which keep content well-organized and search-friendly, and ease of integration with multiple search backends, such as ElasticSearch and Algolia.
Wagtail first gained fame by powering HillaryClinton.com in 2015, and now is used by NASA’s JPL, the UK NHS, Mozilla, Google’s blog, 18F, the Peace Corps, M.I.T., and several departments on campus.
